It’s been an interesting week, I must admit, week 2 was a
bit harder than week 1. There were some days when I felt like I had to force
myself to drink more water, especially when I wasn't necessarily thirsty. I
also had to pee way more during the day, almost always around the same time.
But I never gave up, and I managed to drink almost 12 cups every day for the
whole week!
Speaking of sleep, that was one of the biggest improvements
I noticed in week 2. I would always have trouble falling asleep at night, and
sometimes I would wake up still feeling tired in the morning. Yet, since I started
drinking more water, I noticed that I fell asleep a lot faster than usual and
woke up feeling more refreshed. I’m not sure if that was the case of drinking
tea right before bed or just having the extra hydration throughout the day.
Another bonus I noticed is that my skin looked a lot clearer
and smoother this week. My face and my hands were not as dry either! I noticed I
was not getting headaches at the end of the day as often as I would, I was able
to stay alert and focused throughout the day.
I think week 2 of drinking 12 cups of water every day was a success! I feel proud of myself for sticking to this challenge so far. I'm looking forward to seeing what week 3 will bring, will I be making this a new habit of mine or will there be more challenges to this. Thanks for reading and see you next time!
